About RefDat

RefDat is a growing network of free, fast-loading reference tools for commonly searched data. Our mission is simple: give people the information they're looking for, instantly, on any device, with no sign-ups or downloads required.

What We Build

Each RefDat tool is a focused micro-site covering a single data domain. Our first tool, Australian Postcodes, covers every suburb and locality in Australia with postcodes, phone area codes, geographic coordinates, and regional information. More tools — unit converters, area codes, time zones — are on the way.

Our Approach

Every page is static HTML designed to load in under a second. We don't use heavy JavaScript frameworks, tracking scripts, or pop-ups. The data comes from publicly available government sources and community-maintained databases, cross-referenced for accuracy.
